The model is what costs money. That is what you pay for.
Building, editing, reviewing and exporting a projection happens on your own machine and is not metered on any plan. A model assist is one of the two things that leaves it: drafting a projection from your paragraph, or answering a what-if the rules cannot read exactly.
10 assists a month on the free account. 250 on Desk, at $20 a month.

What a plan does not change
- The arithmetic. The engine, both statements, the review and the scenario comparison are the same on every plan, including the free one.
- Where your work lives. Projections stay in this browser on every plan.
- The exports. Workbook CSV and the memo PDF are unmetered.
- The chips. Every what-if the rules recognise — raise prices, change a line, hire in a month — is exact, instant and costs nothing.
Questions worth asking first
What stops working when I run out of assists?
Nothing you have built. The projection, both statements, the review, the memo and the CSV and PDF exports all run in your browser and are never metered. What pauses is the model: drafting from a paragraph, and the what-ifs phrased too loosely for the rules to read exactly. Those come back at the start of the next period.
Why do I need an account for the free tier?
Because the allowance has to belong to someone. Model calls cost us real money per request, and an allowance keyed on an address is one anybody can have as many of as they like. Everything that does not call the model still works signed out.
Where are my projections kept?
In your browser, as before. Signing in adds an allowance to your account; it does not move your work onto a server. Export the workbook or the memo to keep a copy elsewhere.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the Stripe billing portal. The plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and then drops to the free allowance. Nothing is deleted — there is nothing of yours on our side to delete.
