Privacy
The short version: your music never leaves your machine, and we hold about as little else as an account can be run on.
Your music stays put
Audio files, waveforms, tempo and key measurements, projects, sets and recordings live on the machine you made them on. None of it is uploaded, and there is no copy of your library on our servers to lose, subpoena or leak.
What we do hold
An email address, so you can sign in. Which plan you are on and when it renews. An opaque identifier per machine you have connected, so seats can be counted — not its name, not its serial number.

When you use hosted planning
Asking our servers to read a brief or build a set sends the words you wrote, plus measured numbers about your tracks — tempo, key, loudness, length — and an opaque identifier for each. It does not send filenames, folder paths, artist names or any audio.
We keep the request and its result so a failed one can be investigated and so usage can be counted against your plan. We do not use any of it to train a model, and we do not sell it.
Everything the planner does works locally too. If you never turn hosted planning on, nothing about your sets ever reaches us.
Rate limiting and abuse
Sign-in attempts are counted against a one-way hash of your email address, and requests against your account. The raw values are not stored, and there is no advertising, no tracking pixel and no third-party analytics anywhere in the product.
Your rights
Ask us for a copy of what we hold, for a correction, or for deletion, and we will do it within 30 days. Deleting your account removes the account record; your library and your recordings are on your own machine and are yours to keep or delete yourself.
If a regulator or a court asks us for your data we will tell you first unless we are legally forbidden. If there is a breach affecting your account we will tell you within 72 hours of confirming it.
